The Discover 3 is a solid comfort cruiser that does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any fuss. At $1,999, you’re getting a strong hub motor, legitimate range that actually matches the claims, and enough customization to dial it however you want. The comfort setup works, the air fork is a real upgrade, and all the color options means you’ve got choices.
Overall, the bike just delivers on what it sets out to do. No games, fair price, and a very comfortable ride with power on tap when you need it and all the customization options you could want. It’s a serious contender if you’re looking for your next e-bike.

Overall, the Discover M left me impressed, not just with the bike itself, but with the experience and value for the money. Velotric has been steadily improving over the almost three years I’ve been reviewing their bikes, and the leap from the Discover 2 to this is substantial. This is a bike that punches well above its $2,499 price point, and it shows that Velotric is serious about moving upmarket without abandoning the value proposition that got them here.

Ultimately, this comes down to what you value. If you want the flexibility to customize your riding experience, appreciate thoughtful engineering, and don’t mind paying a bit more for features that actually enhance the ride, the Velotric Triker makes a strong case for itself. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but it might just be the most complete one.

So, who’s this bike for? If you’re prioritizing a lightweight e-bike that’s easy to maneuver—say, for city commuting, quick jaunts, or stashing in tight spaces—the Breeze 1’s a solid pick. The step-thru frame, comfy upright ride, and versatile tech make it great for casual riders, weekend explorers, or anyone who values nimbleness over a spec-heavy build.
In the end, the Breeze 1’s a well-executed ride that nails the lightweight, easygoing vibe. Preference is king here and if you know you’re looking for a lightweight step-through commuter that does it all well, the Velotric Breeze 1 is worth a look.

Frames and Colors: The Nomad 2X comes in two frame styles: High-Step (HS) and Step-Through (ST), each tailored to different rider heights and preferences. The High-Step fits riders from 5’10” to 6’5”, offering a traditional bike feel that’s great for aggressive trails or taller folks. The Step-Through, with a lower standover height, suits riders from 4’11” to 5’10”, making it easier to hop on and off—perfect for commuters or hunters with gear.
At $2,499, the Nomad 2X is a strong value in a market where tariffs are nudging similar full-suspension eBikes closer to $3,000. Budget models often cut corners on suspension or accessories, but this bike delivers a premium feel with practical features included. If you need a versatile eBike for trails, hunting, hauling, or commuting, the Nomad 2X checks a lot of boxes. The Velotric Nomad 2X is a fat tire eBike that’s tough to pin down—it’s a trail-ready adventurer, a heavy-duty hauler, and a city commuter all in one. Its full air suspension (120mm front, 80mm rear) is a standout, delivering a plush, tunable ride that’s rare at $2,499, smoothing out everything from rocky paths to urban potholes.

So, who’s this for? If you’re into weekend escapes—camping, running trails—or need a comfy daily commuter that can lug groceries or gear, the Nomad 2’s a contender. It’s got the beef for heavier riders or light towing (if you can test that 1,000 lbs claim), and the ride seems to be a good fit for folks who want capability with a plush feel. Not perfect for twitchy speed freaks or anyone scared off by an 82-lb heft, but for the adventure crowd or haulers, it’s worth a look. Velotric’s been catching my eye lately, and this one keeps that streak alive—a solid kit that gets the job done, with lots of comfort.

So, when the dust settles, what does the Velotric Fold Plus bring to the table that other folders don’t already? Well, quite a bit actually. It’s the biggest payload (460 lbs) I’ve personally ever seen on any folding ebike. The power at 75 Nm’s with a 750W hub motor make it a force for taking peppy rides around town or tackling local hills. The range nearly hit 70 miles in my testing in Trail mode and I’m confident I would have been north of 70 miles had I used the more relaxed Eco mode for testing. Tech heads will appreciate the OTA updates via the app, speed controls and Apply Find My integration for the more security/safety focused owners.

Here’s the bottom line on the Summit 1: it’s a Swiss Army knife of an e-bike that strikes a sweet spot between capability and cost. The 120mm fork and slack geo make it a comfortable daily driver that can handle some weekend warrioring, but let’s be clear about what this bike is and isn’t.
This isn’t your dedicated eMTB for sending blacks at the bike park. But for flow trails, gravel grinding, and exploring forest service roads? That’s where this thing feels at home. Think of it as more of an adventure commuter than a pure trail bike – capable enough to have fun on single track but really built for versatility.
